Bob is an actor, host/comedian and writer, appearing most recently in the series From, the television adaptation of Sullivan’s Crossing, and the Bell Fibe1/Swearnet series King & Pawn. Among numerous other titles he also appears in the Hallmark Christmas movies The Secret Gifts of Christmas (2023) and Believe in Christmas (2024) and the upcoming feature Sharp Corner (Full credit list – IMDB). As a host, Bob has specialized in settings and events for a wide variety of professional audiences, including the Canadian University Board Association, Canadian Network of Agencies of Regulation, Canadian Bar Association, Nova Scotia Barrister’s Society, various university functions (Acadia, Dalhousie, University of King’s College), and the annual Nova Scotia Screen Awards. A stand-up comedian for more than fifteen years, he has headlined for Yuk-Yuk’s, Comedy Cove, Funny Fundraisers and Comedy Stand Productions.

Bob’s short films The Date and Second Wedding, which he wrote and co-produced, have earned him ACTRA Award nominations for outstanding performance, and a Best Actor award at the 2022 Great Canadian Comedy Film Festival. The Date was named Best Canadian Short Film at the 2020 Canadian International Comedy Film Festival, and Second Wedding was part of Telefilm’s Not Short on Talent program at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival.
