Canadian Comedy Award nominated comedian and podcaster, Julien Dionne, has been touring Canada and parts of the US, since 2006. Originally from Scoudouc, New Brunswick, Julien now calls Wakefield(QC) home via Toronto — having spent 2 years in New York City cutting his teeth and honing his craft alongside some of the best comedians in the world.
In 2018, Julien taped a “Juste Pour Rire” gala in French, in Edmonton, as part of “Les Rendez-Vous De La Francophonie” to be aired nationally, as well as two galas for “ComédieHa!” In Quebec City in both French and English. His comedy has also been heard on XM/Sirius Satellite and CBC Radio.
Julien was a performer at JFL42 (Just for Laughs-Toronto), The Hubcap Comedy Festival in Moncton, The Cornwall Comedy Festival, The New York City Frigid Festival, and every major comedy club from Victoria, British Columbia to Saint John’s Newfoundland.
Julien has also appeared in numerous television commercials and played a lead role in the CBC mini-series, Canada: The Story of Us that aired in 2017.
Julien can be heard twice weekly as host of the popular, The Julien Dionne Comedy Hour Podcast on iTunes every Tuesday and Friday. His two(2) albums, ‘Too Soon‘(2012) & ‘Beginnings‘(2014) are also available on iTunes or at JulienDionne.com/albums.

Originaire de Scoudouc au Nouveau-Brunswick, Julien démarre une carrière anglophone en 2006 au Canada et aux États-Unis principalement à Toronto et à New York où il fait ses premières armes en humour et affine son art avec certains des plus brillants humoristes au monde.
Nominé au Canadian Comedy Award, Julien a été la tête d’affiche du JFL42 (Just for Laughs-Toronto), du Festival de l’humour Hubcap à Moncton, du festival FRIGID New York fringe, du Cornwall Comedy Festival et de tous les comédie clubs, de Victoria en Colombie-Britannique à Saint-Jean de Terre-Neuve.
Julien ajoute maintenant à son répertoire des spectacles d’humour en français, sa langue maternelle, ce qui constitue un retour aux sources pour cet humoriste acadien. Cela donne rapidement lieu à sa participation au Gala Juste Pour Rire en 2020, Gala D’Un Rire à l’Autre 2018, 2019 dans le cadre des Rendez-vous de la Francophonie ainsi qu’un Gala Trait d’Humour en 2018, 2019 et 2020 lors du Festival ComédieHa! Il a également affiché complet au ZOOFEST en 2018 avec son spectacle Les Acadiens ont landé à Montréal! en collaboration avec Xavier Gould “Jass-Sainte Bourque”.
À la radio, on peut entendre son humour sur les ondes de SiriusXM et de CBC Radio.
À la télévision, on a pu le voir dans de nombreuses annonces ainsi que dans un premier rôle pour la minisérie Canada:The Story of Us diffusée sur la chaîne CBC en 2017.
